VI: I Met My Younger Self For Tea.
Musings
I met my younger self for tea today.
She arrived on time, a broad smile plastered over her face, but her eyes sunken from exhaustion.
I arrived on time, confident, empowered and a smile of compassion.
We both ordered a Matcha and sat at a quiet corner of the cafe.
Some things never really change.
She shared about how her health broke down (again), and how she never felt belonged at home. She spoke about feeling worried for her future.
I told her about the Maldives and how a pivotal chapter of our lives awaits her there.
It will be the most magical time of your life, but it will also break you wide open—twice. It is what our soul chose for us, and as crazy as it sounds, it was necessary, and one day, you will understand.
I told her that I was moving to Mexico again.
“Again?” I nodded, “a 10 year full circle moment indeed.”
I told her about the soul-led work that I do as a business owner now, how my articles are read by hundreds daily and how my work supports Projectors globally. I told her how we have manifested this beautiful life of Projector Success— of freedom, spaciousness, adventure, impact and expansion.
We hugged, and I told her—You are not confused. You are not lost. You are not behind.
You can trust what feels right for you.
You do not have to lose yourself to fit in anymore.
You can be both unwavering and nervous all at once.
You are exactly where you need to be.
This discomfort is a nudge from the Universe, propelling you to examine yourself more closely, reclaim your power, take the plunge, and befriend change.
You just have to listen attentively.
And one day, you will use what you did to heal yourself, and heal others too.
And I promise you— there is something waiting for you on the other side of all this.
And that person is me.
Love,
your future self.
