VI: Waking Up

Musings

What about feeling deeply, be-friending your wounds and shadows, committing to your own healing and feeling empowered about your inherent authenticity.
— Arawme

The very nature and essence of waking up is to be aware and accountable. 𓆃

A conscious choice to challenge your limiting beliefs, patterns, pointing fingers and fears that have locked you frozen for far too long.

A conscious choice to finally drop the victimhood and pain mental paradigm.

A conscious choice to finally choose the freedom out of your pain.

To choose the power in one's skin with the wisdom that has always laid latent within you.

A conscious choice to cultivate your inherent authenticity by witnessing your brilliance and honoring the capacity of your soul.

A conscious choice to undertake and commit to your own healing— a mission that is only yours to begin, and no others.

A commitment that begins by radically filling your own cup.

A process that may at times feel 5 steps forward and 3 steps backward.

A process that constantly stretches you, jostles you... a contraction before every expansion, to the newer, current, you.

Feeling deeply... is scary.

Be-friending your traumas, your emotional wounds and your personal shadows... can feel incredibly daunting, lonely and confusing.

Running away would be easier than facing them in the face and dropping into our bodies to feel them all.

But there is an expanse of freedom and liberation on the other side of this stuck-ness and rigidity.

There is power in being soft.

There is strength in your vulnerability and your authenticity.

There is an attainable life to be happy, empowered, and courageous that is yours to grasp with your fingertips.

Your journey inwards can often feels earth-shattering. It never really begin inwards but outwards.

Shedding, contracting, un-learning, undoing.

Integrating, rebirthing, expanding, relearning, failing and then shedding again.

But if you never begin, you never will know what's on the other side.

Because most times, the other side of what scares you is exactly closer to where you want to be.
