Personal Growth, Spirituality, Healing

We embark on a spiritual path to look inwards; to heal.

A journey of remembrance, of remembering your wisom and gifts, a cultivation of your authenticity, and lastly, an alignment with your higher Self.

A reclamation of your power.

The day I embarked on my spiritual journey was also the day I confronted my emotional wounds and embarked on my personal psycho-emotional healing.

My spiritual journey began when I wholeheartedly embrace my emotional wounds. Wounds that locked me so deeply in a narrative for far too long.

It began when I held a mirror with myself, be-friended my shadows and wounds, and looked deeply at myself with the role I played in my suffering—and the role I want to play in my own healing.

It began when I consciously take accountability for my worth, projections, shadows, healing, goals and desires. It began when I allowed myself to shine with my gifts, too.

It began when I finally allowed myself to experience the full spectrum of the human experience, through its pitfalls, suffering, losses, grief, laughter, joy, exuberance and its impermanence too.

Claiming your power back does not happen overnight. It is always terrifying to take the plunge into the unknown and/or approach change. Looking at ourselves deeply may even feel foreign and disempowering, after all, we have been seeking validation externally from others our entire life.

Journeying inwards often begins with energetic mastery, a profound embodiment of self-love, unlearning your falsehoods and re-learning your wisdom.

A contraction before every expansion.

A dissolvement before every emergence.

And the healing comes in waves — the clarity, the integration, the de-conditioning and finally the embodiment.

I like to view the human experience as one where we incarnate on this Earth individually with our unique wounds and gifts. And life is about journeying through this path; of healing these wounds —feeling them deeply, surrendering, consciously transcending, transmuting and eventually liberating them.

The dance of individual evolvement. And the doorway of liberation and transformation awaits one on the other side.

And if that dance comes to you, don't fight it, or resist it. Let yourself bloom. ᐤ 𖧹

Perhaps the most profound beauty of a spiritual path is less of the materials; the tangibles but rather, an inner peace. A profound wisdom with your outer realities; an inner alignment with your highest, purest Self. All to uncover your self-worth, deepen your capacity for love, tolerance, acceptance and kindness, to make wiser choices in life and to reconnect you with the wisdom that your soul and higher Self already know.
